Pharma Global Forum Continues as Thought Leader Event

This seventh Global Forum, held in Washington DC at the end of November, was the first to include ‘Diversion’ in the title, becoming the Global Forum on Pharmaceutical AntiCounterfeiting and Diversion. Even though diversion of medicines had been touched on in past events this was the first time that diversion of painkillers would be a major portion of the program. The decision to include diversion reflected both the rise of this issue, particularly in the USA, and the recognition that there is great commonality in the solutions for both diversion and counterfeiting.
